Solar Powered Water Filtration System

This is a photo of my Year 12 major work, what i designed was a solar powered water filtration and naturalization system. It incorporated the use of five different filter's to rid the undrinkable water of sediment and contaminates. These included filters ranging from simple nets to capture particles and sediment down to charcoal filters to rid the water of contaminates. The thing that was unique about my project, was that it utilized Ultra Violet light, by means of a solar panel, to decontaminate and naturalize the water of living bacteria, ultimately turning contaminated and diseased undrinkable water into a source of clean and consumable water.
